New international courier: We were experiencing delays to some EU country's with our previous courier so are now using DHL for all our international larger parcel.
Payment: Secure payment withPayPal, credit & debit cards through PayPal, bank transfer (all transfer fees to be paid by the customer). Payments by £ (GPB Sterling).
Same day dispatch: All attempts will be made to dispatch orders received by 11am - this does not including weekends and UK public holidays.
UK Postage: Orders up to £50.00 in value will be sent Royal Mail 1st class post (£2.90) - Orders over £50.00 in value will be sent Royal Mail 1st class post Tracked(£4.90) - Postage is Free on orders over £150 to Parcelforce zone 1 and a discounted price for zones 2 & 3 - Larger items such as yachts & hulls will be dispatched by ParcelForce tracked 24 hour with consignment details included with the dispatch notice.
European and World Postage: Orders under £30 are sent by Royal Mail priority post. Orders over £30.00 are sent Royal Mail "Tracked or Signed" (dependant on country). Larger items such as yachts, hulls, and DF95 A rig will be shipped by our courier DHL tracked service with consignment details included with the dispatch notice. Delivery will normally takes 5 to working days for 7 working days dependent on the country but due to the current situation we are experiencing delays.We have updated our website with new delivery format for a more accurate pricing structure worldwide so this should cover all postage costs but due to the various sizes, shapes & weight of our products we might have to increase the cost postage to cover our costs.
New EU postage protocols:From the 1st January all EU orders will be treated the same as world orders. They are UK VAT exempt and you will now liable to your country's import protocols and customs duties - more detail below.
EU export information from our courier:Customs clearance charges and fees may be payable on items/goods (excluding personal correspondence) entering the destination country including the EU from the UK. These depend on the contents’ value. You will need to decide how the recipient will pay these as the parcel won’t be released until payment has been received.
Items sent to the EU from England, Scotland and Wales are subject VAT and duties in the EU. The value of goods thresholds are detailed below.
Items valued at under €22 will remain part of the Low Value Consignment Relief (LVCR) Scheme for items sent to the EU and are not subject to VAT or duties until 1 July 2021 (subject to further extension date to be set by the EU).
Commercial items/goods (excluding personal correspondence) sent to the EU over €22 and below €150 may be taxed at the border and may incur a customs clearance/handling fee in the receiving country.
Commercial items/goods sent to the EU over €150 may attract VAT, customs duties and a clearance/handling fee.
The customs authorities in the destination country and the customs thresholds in place determine if charges are due on imported goods.
The levels and thresholds of charges vary from country to country. Royal Mail cannot advise on what these may be. Please contact the embassy or customs authority of the destination country for help, either directly or via their websites.
